Baby Life

This is a Baby Life. Or Life Seed. Or Roughly Spherical Lump of Rocks, Lizards and a Statue for Some Reason. Call it however you want, but what it is essentially is a tool which makes inhabiting new planets and otherwise parasitizing the galaxy so much easier for the human race. You send a small interplanetary vessel with a bunch of these and when a remotely habitable planet or moon or a large asteroid or whatever is near, you just defrost one of these in an onboard microwave and drop it to the surface. It has everything it could possibly need for starting a good solid human civilization: samples of multiple life forms including plants, animals, bacteria for terraforming the atmosphere if needed, prototype humans which will be grown after the environment is more suitable, materials of which various tools can be constructed, some food supply, dvd/ blue ray player, etc., etc. No humans have to be involved with the boring interstellar travel, there’s no nonsense with extensive terraforming of the planets, no need to bring huge amount of equipment. Once a baby life is defrosted, it starts unraveling and grows everything needed for humans and eventually humans themselves. All you have to do is wait a century or three and every baby life will produce a healthy city full of people. Or a single hyper intelligent lizard sitting in a desert at a laptop. That sometimes happens, but I mean, you can’t predict everything.
